We are now happy to announce the launch of our new absentee bidding service,  www.smithauctionbid.com.  This new service is a stand-alone site that allows registered  users to bid on items just like they would on other bidding sites.  You can either place a  single bid or enter a maximun which will increment as other users bid until the auction  concludes or you are outbid.  The on-line auctions will be scheduled to end at 6:00PM  (EST) on the day prior to the live auction.  At the conclusion of the on-line auction, the  MAXIMUM bid of the winning bidders will be processed as absentee bids for our live  auctions.  The absentee bids will be used during the live auction and if the absentee  bidder is the winning bidder he/she will be notified following the auction (notifications may  not be sent until the Monday following the auction) of the winning bid amount and to  arrange for payment.
